As an employer this organization has the duty to provide a work place that is free from risk and to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees in the workplace. The organisation also has the duty to protect any other person who maybe affected by the organisations activities.
To achieve this, Quantum Electrical and Data, as a company will comply with, or exceed the spirit or intent of relevant legislation and statutory requirement. We will comply with all advisory standards, codes of practice, guidance notes and industry standards for the Electrical Industry.
We will maintain effective hazard, incident and no conformance reporting, recording and analysis, maintain effective injury, illness management, reporting, recording and investigation procedures, provide our employees with information, instructions, training and supervision as necessary to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Using a risk management approach in consultation with our staff, determine the risks associated with identified workplace hazards, to staff, client’s contractors or the public and implement appropriate controls over those risks, which are determined to be unacceptable.
We require our staff contractors and visitors to comply with all relevant and statuary requirements, standard work practices, code of practice and Australian and organisational standards. They are to report all injuries and incidents and to rectify hazards and faults.
To achieve a health low risk and quality working environment, commitment and cooperation of all our staff, visitors and contractors are essential. The managing Director, Directors and Managers are responsible for the implementation of this policy.
